HVAC Installer — Residential Division

Responsible for the installation of equipment and replacement services of HVAC for residential customers, according to state and local codes and to the satisfaction of the customer.

Some duties include:
  • Perform skilled installation of heating and air-conditioning equipment — including but not limited to ductless mini-split systems, furnaces and boilers, air handlers, indoor coils and condensers. Must follow manufacturer and company installation requirements as well as state and local codes.
  • Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm, and load them into the company vehicle.
  • Operate specialized machinery, equipment and tools used during installation.
  • Carry out the wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.
  • Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.

HVAC / Refrigeration Technician

Responsible for the mechanical and electrical installation, maintenance and replacement services of HVAC and refrigeration — both commercial and residential — according to state and local codes.

Some duties include:
  • Perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties inspecting, repairing and installing ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Calibrate systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
  • Diagnose defects, and install, repair and maintain heating, ventilating, refrigeration and air-conditioning units, and commercial ovens.
  • Operate specialized machinery, equipment and tools used in the repair, installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Assist on job sites with other technicians.
